Question for yo-yo spin

>Your pens with the rubber O-rings are very impressive. I want to try that and need a little info. It looks like you cut a little groove so the ring will be about half exposed. Do you put any glue in the groove and do you apply the finish with the ring in place or is that the final step after assembly. Inquiring minds want to know!

The groves are cut with a sharp skew, but one of those very thin parting tools could also be used. There is no glue holding the rings in place. The rings are common plumbing o-rings (Buna-N), purchased through www.allorings.com. The ID of the o-ring's I use run about 70-80% of the OD of the pen, so it�s a tight fit.
The o-rings are rolled onto the upper blank, and into the grove, as part of the final assembly process, after finishing.

If you were to place an order so that you would have a representitive supply in both colors and sizes for both pens of various sizes and bottle stoppers, what would you recommend.

>Charlie, not knowing what kind of pen kit you're using or how you style your turnings, it's a little hard to answer that question. But, referring to the All O-Rings website size chart (link below), you'll almost certainly want rings in the -008 to -012 size range.
