>Haven't posted much but I read the list everyday. With all the talk about pen kits...and I think Berea and CSUA are the best beyond question...I thought I'd share my latest.
This is a green dyed black ash burl closed body Euro fountain pen (my favorite style). The Burl I got from Bill Baumbeck at Arizona Silhouette.

At both penturners.org and the yahoo penturners group, there is an article I wrote on how to make the closed body pen. In both places it is posted for all to access.
There doesn't seem to be many people doing this--Russ Fairfield is the only other person I know of doing regularly and he's **way** ahead of me--but I think it is way more elegant than having a black or even gold reciever post at the end of the pen.
And lest I forget...thank you for the compliment.
