Yeah, I was very lucky. I was able to sell all three of my Instant Gallery pieces, and was very proud of the fact that the donation piece brought $850. More than that, I was proud of the comments that Auctioneer John Hill and Phil Brennon made about the piece and the finish.
I actually sold one of the pieces twice - I made a deal over the phone with a young man for my Walnut piece (had already sold the ebonized Walnut piece) Saturday night, and he met me and paid me Sunday morning. Shortly thereafter, I was in the first rotation of Sunday morning, and got a call from John Hill - AAW Boardmember/Auctioneer from the night before. Said that he was standing in front of my work in the Instant Gallery and wanted to buy one of my pieces. I went and met him. Unfortunately, he was holding the piece that I had sold earlier in the morning - I had failed to mark it as sold.
Fortuately, I have a similar one in the works, and he wants to see it when I am done, and may buy it.
I sure enjoyed myself, and once I get myself back in the office this week, I will post about my experiences.
Thanks again, TD for the support.
