>Took my friend Charlie A. over there yesterday, he brought a trailer up from Southern Maryland and we loaded it up with woods that don't grow so readily down there.
I spied something that I knew would be special but I didn't know exactly how until I cut it up. This was apparently the top of a large cherry that had been topped and regrew 5 larger limbs. This was the "heart" of that section. LOOK AT THE FIGURE and COLORS in this piece! I don't think I've ever seen cherry quite this wild that wasn't burl.
