I have seen that type of work in pictures. I have found nothing on it. I have googled until the wee hours of the morning.

You have any book titles that I can look for or web sites that may be out there.

>The book "Wood Turning Technexues and Projects You Can Make" By Better Homes and Gardens describes inside out turning. Also, John Lucas does a demo on it and has done a lot of it.

>Fred, you beat me to it, thanks.

This is a tutorial I made up when I demoed inside/out Christmas ornaments for our club.

The basic technique is the same for other forms besides ornaments.

>Glad it helped, Fred.

I've been using double-stick tape to hold the pieces together now, instead of superglue or brown paper and carpenter's glue. It works better--it's the tape used for plastic storm windows, and I put it on the full length of each joint for the first step.

If you clamp it for a few seconds, it won't come apart until you whack a chisel into the end pretty hard.
