>Thanks Dick, I know what you mean. I just located a close replacement but I am afraid the price will be more than I can stand unless I sell the BIG bowl. It is amazing what you will pay for one of the little rascals after not having the company for a couple of months. It sure is boring standing in the shop all day making curls and not having a mutt jumping on your leg or chasing the curls as they fall. Anyway, I just got an email with pics but no price as yet so my fingers are crossed....maybe this is it.

>Terry, a Jack is the way to go. I have a friend who lost one also. I understand two things usually happen with lost Jacks. They either jump in a passing car, or they chase something into a hole and can't back out (that's what the tail lenght is for...to pull them out of a hole). I have two and must say that their personalities are about the same although the 8 yr old female might be a little more sensitive. Good luck with your search.

Sorry to hear about Buddy, he was just about through being a puppy and becoming tolerable! How about the state dog of Georgia? We picked out a new one this week, can't wait to get him home.

I was wondering when you would weigh in. Jack, I gotta have another "Buddy". I really liked the little guy. I don't know for certain if he was a JR or a rat terrier but I want to replace him with the same breed. Buddy was free so I didn't ask a lot of questions about his breed but I was told he was JR. In trying to find a replacement I think he may have been a Type B Miniature Rat Terrier. Any suggestions of where I might find one?
