new ash bowl

>Here is an ash bowl I rough turned last summer when Terry Quiram took down an ash tree on his property and gave me some of the wood. The tree succombed to carpenter ants and there is an ant pocket in the bowl.

I finish-turned it a couple of weeks ago and finally finished sanding it yesterday. I tried something different during the sanding process. I applied a coat of Minwax Tung Oil Finish between each grit and at the end. I really like the finish I was able to achieve.

The bowl is about 10" wide, 3" deep, and has 3/8" thick walls.

Thanks for looking.
