>Hi:

After sanding, use brown paper to burnish surface.

Apply one drop of thin CA and spread with a piece of packing foam sheet or one of the plastic bags as you slowly rotate the pen on the lathe.Let air dry for a few minutes; don't use accelerator.

I then use EEE and follow with 2 coats of shellawax friction polish.

Too much CA will cause problems.

>EEE-Ultra Shine Polish is a polish that contains an abrasive (tripoli). The ads say that after sanding to 320 grit using EEE gives a surface equal to 1200 grit.

I sand to 2000, burnish, and then apply CA finish.

I use it after applying the CA finish. It smooths out any slight irregularities and increases the surface shine.
