Personal Woodturning Website Advice

>I think that I am finally at the point were I want to have my own personal Website. As I think Russ called it - a web business card, that I can point people to.
Would like some advice Do and don't kinds of things.
My ISP will provide some space, but no design help. Other professional sites will help using a design wizard, and can offer 5 pages and 2 mail boxes for as little at $12 a month.
Something along the lines of Terry Daniel's site, maybe not as extensive as David Peebles' site.
Mostly a place to have a gallery of my past and present work.
Advice? Pointers to your sites?
Thanks
Mark
