There will be a good deal of woodturning .

It's a great mid-sized regional symposium, and should be fun for all who attend. There are at least 3 WoodCentral Turning Messageboard regulars, as well as some world famous turners on the presenter list, so you'll get to put faces on a few people who post here and you might even get to spend some time with some of the real big shots in the turning world. Last year I spent about 6 hours with John Jordan, up close and personal, because a camera operator was needed -- I learned a lot, and I can assure you that John Jordan is a real nice fellow. We could even have a WoodCentral happy hour, a wood swap, or some other sort of gathering ...

Definitely check out the presenters section of the website. I'm personally looking forward to meeting Russ since I have learned so much from him on this site and his own site.
