See the photo below on Inlace Alternatives. You'll look like that. I do like the way it turns and polishes really nice. I use the same procedure for Corian as I listed below. Sand to 600 grit, use 0000 steel wool and then follow with white automotive rubbing compound.

It turns well and finishes with the same sanding, CA finish, and friction polish used for the wood.

The tools dull slightly faster than wood alone.

>Hi Tommy

Long time no hear. What have you been up to? Corian turns pretty well and smells slightly better that plexi when you cut it. Keep the tools sharp and the speed up. I dry sand up to 320 and then wet sand with a 280 sponge and mineral spirits. You can get a pretty respectable shine without going any higher.

>Hi Terry,

Thanks for the info. I am well. This is my busy time at work, construction season. I have 2 big projects here on campus this summer. My shop time is greatly reduced right now. Outddor projects have taken over my time!

I hope you are well.

>Just some info I found out from a corian installer. He used to pay 40.00+$$$ for a can of finish polish. He discovered that the Soft scrub you buy in the supermarket for your porceline sinks and tubs works just as good, and you wind up with a mirror finish.
