>This is an experiment and would like some feedback. I still have the tenon on the bottom so this is a work in progress. I'm probably going to make the bottom smaller so it matches the grain.
3-1/4" x 2-1/4" by 1/8" thick, still wet watco.

It's too late to do it with this one but consider putting a small bead on the lid and/or the base, next to the join. It helps disguise the slight mismatches that occur when the lid and the base inevitably move - at different rates.

I only used about a 1/4oz of resin and eyeballed an equal about of faux granite filler. After turning, I'd guess +/- 1/4oz of weight is added to the top. It actually has a good feel because of the extra weight.
