>I just found a realy good mat for around my lathe. It was at "Target" (read that Tarje'). It was a kit for kids play mats. Consists of 6 about 3/4" colored stiff foam mats that fit together. The individual mats are about 18" sguare. The cost was about $10. The mats a frim enough that they could wear well and will be a cinch to clean up...
