>Hi,
I am looking for a laser thickness guide that I could utilize, both on my center saver, and little brother hollower. The articulaser appears to only work with its own system, and I'm not sure about the Jamieson system. Does anyone have a recomendation (other than making my own!)? Or, can someone steer me to a link of a review (other then Fred's, which I read and found very informative)?

Vol 18 no.1 There is also a wonderful article about scrapers by Russ Fairfield. I've added a photo of my version. I decided the lazer mounting bracket that Bruce made was more complicated than necessary so mine is just a piece of wood with a hole and slot to hold the lazer. A clothes pin holds the button on.
I also use a rare earth magnet that's painted white and has ruler markings on it to set the depth. It was clumsy trying to hold a card or ruler there.

>I thought you needed some more details. Left is the lazer attachment. Simple and efficient. Middle, this is the adjustment. I like the fact that you only need one knob to adjust everything. Last photo is how I attach it to my boring bar. I used an allen head screw that matches the allens in the boring bar so I only need one wrench.
