Need Info on Gast Pump

>A local pawn shop has a nice Gast Air Compressor for sale for $60. I cannot find any information on it. Model # on the plate is 1HAD-17-M200X. It has a small 2 gallon tank. It is very quiet. I am more interested in using it for a vacuum pump.
I cannot find any information on it on the Gast web site. Anyone know anything about it. Can I use it for a vacuum pump?

>Mark, I couldn't find that model, but the M200X would indicate a 1/4 hp piston compressor. It is not something you could expect to get a high vacuum from. I would recommend a rotary vane vacuum pump. Bob

I already have a vacuum pump/chuck - it is a rocker piston type and works fine. My interest in this one is for one of our club members for a vacuum chuck.
Interestingly all these small compressors that I found from gast are REALLY expensive - $400 plus>

The great part is that they shipped me a replacement out, with a return label, and I had it the next day at no cost to me.
