RH/LH Faceplates
Rick Prevett
>I hope I got the subject line right. My new Jet 1642EVS came with a 6" faceplate that has two set screws at the base to support spinning in reverse. This is one of the reasons I got the 1642, hoping to improve my finishing process by sanding in reverse.
I'm looking for more faceplates with the set screws tapped, but am not having much luck. 3" and 4" are more to my liking right now.
Anyone have a lead on such an item? Or are there any other hints for reverse turning to keep the faceplate/chuck from unwinding?
thanks
