Some resturants sell bottle salt and pepper sets with plastic tops. With all the views and few responces I may need to try to find a set to see if there is a mfg listed there

Thanks all

I have about 60 catalogs and have never seen those. I do remember that Campmore had a set of salt and pepper shaker tops that fit film cans but have never seen the beer bottle tops.

>You only need one (1) hole in the middle of the cap to make it serve as a salt or pepper shaker. This can be drilled hole, but remove the sealer material under the cap around the hole before drilling. If the drill is spinning fast enough and the cap is supported solidly under the hole there will be no burr when the drill breaks through. Even if the drilling a a bit rough, there is only one hole to clean up after.

A 5/64" drill works for me for both salt and pepper. Use a smaller drill if the pepper grind is finer or the salt pours too fast for you.

>Bill,

Do a search for beer bottling supplies. You should find caps and cappers pretty easily. Lots of people still make their own beer (although I can't imagine why).
