Craft fair hint

>At a craft fair over this past weekend, I took a cherry natural edged bowl as well as the 1/2 log section from which it was cut with a bandsaw. I displayed the bowl in the hole and got many complimentary remarks about what a good idea it was to display the bowl and log in that fashion. The bright idea did nothing for selling the bowl and overall the fair vendors uniformly groused about the poor sales. We got rained on alot though. You might try this technique at upcoming shows as something different.
