Lectric Chainsaw

>My Husky 316EL just came in. I tossed the original chain before even trying it and put a standard chain on and gave it a try. It cuts about as fast as a small gas powered Pole Land. I really like it. My previous electric was a Sears and I gave that one away. The chainbrake seems to be excellent on this saw and the power is more than I expected. I caught it on sale for $229 and I think it is going to be worth every penny. I'll post more about it later after trimming a BIG blank that I am about to start.

>Terry, I found the same saw on the net for $199. I have been waiting for an electric for my shop. I bought at Husky 357 as an outdoor saw. Can't wait to share screw ups!

>David, I could have gotten it cheaper but I bought it from a local guy that gives me good service when I need it; not that I expect the electric to need much. I made a deal with him several years ago....I don't work on chainsaws and he doesn't make bowls.:)
