Cherry Critique

Mark Mandell - Gone Round In Jersey

>Salad bowl is about 12" by 5-1/2" x 1/4" and sits on a 1/4" x 4.5" beaded foot.

This is the last of the LDD test pieces. Finish is gloss tung flattened, and serve to demonstrate why I put the soap back in the jugs. Way too much color change and loss of grain clarity.

Thanks for looking

>Mark, that is a perfectly nice form and my first glance over it with a critical eye produced no suggestions. My second did the same. Well done! I like the color, too.

>Mark, you say this is cherry. I agree with you. If the LDD did that to cherry, I would not use it any further either unless it was on some lighter, featureless piece already. I never was sold on LDD. Now I know I'll not use it further.
