>I had this piece of crotch that had three limbs coming out of it. I wasn't sure of what to do with it, so I just started turning and ended up with a hollowed vase. i'm not to crazy about the shape but I learned quite a bit turning and hollowing this piece. Suggestions on what to do with a piece of wood like this and critiques are welcome.

Very well done. My only critic would be to do something with the top. It appears to flat or blunt looking. I think maybe starting the curve toward the top a little lower so the curve could continue all the way to the hole.

>Wow, real nice vase. I checked out the link and saw what you started with. I would be very aprehensive starting with that mass of odd shaped lumps. You did a great job getting something to survive those forces trying to tear it apart. And all that end grain everywhere!

Can't critique form or give suggestions, just admiration for working with such a challenging piece of wood.
