>Thanks again for the responses to my search for power carving info. Refurbed by 40y/o Foredom CC, put this little $50 recipro unit on the shaft, and tried out the thingy with the El Cheapo cutters included on a piece on the lathe. After I reforge some chisels into the shapes I use, this will do for a start on adding tactile areas to some turnings. I'm not, of course, ruling out a TurboCarver at some point . . .
