I did not change the curcuitry that effect the ramp up speed. I think that having a ramp up to full power/speed is a good safety factor.
I am still using the setup (today even) and love it.

>My concern was about the ramp up, the message I read was that the ramp up also eliminated a problem of it not responding quickly enough to added load and could cause stalling, does this seem to be an issue?
