Thorny Locust

>I have an unsual request. I am going to make a goblet on the lathe but the stem or support for the cup will be the thorns of a locust tree.
I no longer own a Thorny Locust Tree but am in need of some thorns. I would be willing to trade some turning blocks or other woodworking item for a box of thorns. They need to be about six to eight inches in length.
I repeat, this is an unusual request. Any takers?

I don't know if the brush is still there but if it is I'll get some thorns for you. They were clearing for power lines and may have removed all we didn't take. John
