I pulled a Chuck Ludwigsen this week and got a load of free wood from the side of the road. Three eight foot Osage Orange logs about 30 inches in diameter and one Sweetgum about the same size. Then an Arborist friend brought me a trailer load of white oak, all cut to 18 inches. He promises to bring me all the different types of wood I can use, all cut to about 18 inches. My cost, $5 a load for his gas.

I'm still praying that your situation will work out well. I have an issue with the IRS also. I made a withdrawal from my 401K at the end of the year that I hadn't planned on making. Since I'm retired and that was the only real income I had I paid the taxes on it at the beginning of this year. Now they want a bunch of money because I didn't estimate my taxes quarterly throughout the year. It'll work out after a bunch of letter writing.
