air circulating face shields

>Can I get some feed back on either the airstream AS400 by 3M or the Airmaster 20 air circulating face shields/mask? The airmstream AS 400 is about $200 higher in price but is it worth the extra. I'm having trouble deciding on which way to go. I currently have the 3M power visor which I like but is currently being discontinued.

>I was in exactly the same situation, with my 4 year old 3M Power Visor needing to be replaces. So, I bought the Airmaster 20...and returned it to the supplier after 3 weeks of frustration. The first battery pack, after charging, leaked toxic black fluid all over my workbench. A second battery was promptly sent by the retailer, and it didn't work either...I ended up returning the Airmaster and purchasing a Trend Airshield, which has been in trouble-free use for about 100 hours over the last 2 months. The only complaint I have on the Airshield is that the procedure for charging the battery requires two thumb-screws to be loosened and two tabs to be released to get at the battery...I'm a little concerned that with continued use, these plastic parts may break. An external charging jack would solve this problem, and I may retrofit mine with one some day. Otherwise, the Airshield is superior, IMHO.
