help(kinda long)

>Hi all,

I am in the hopeful planning stage of taking a class at Arrowmont. I have narrowed it down to two classes: Bowls, Bowls, Bowls by Bobby Clemons

and Plates, Platters & Surface Treatment by Nick Cook. Here's the problem. I like the topic of Bobby Clemons class but haven't seen and know nothing about the instructor. I have seen Nick at some of the turning symposiums and think he is a great presenter but am more interested in bowls than plates and platters. HELP!

Bobby is a good friend. You can't find a more caring instructor. He will be as attentive as anyone you can learn from. He's also a lot of fun. Bobby is not a professional turner and doesn't want to be but he has a proffesional attitude. He just finishes his tenure as president of the AAW and has traveled extensively meeting and watching many other turners. He is very good at passing this knowledge on to anyone.

>I know them both, that have had both as demonstrators in our club. They are both knowledgable and enjoyable demonstrators. I would consider them equals. At that point, I would have to say go with the subject that you are most interested in.

You will not be disappointed in either case.
