>These are bolted onto faceplates or chucks. It does not go into the chucks like the inserts for Oneway, Nova, and Vicmarc chucks. Of course the devises must be designed to accept this type of coupler. I had this type of chuck and face plate for my old lathe.

>Yes, this is an adaptor that fits into a cup or recess in the back of a cheap, off shore, three or four jaw, machinist style chuck. I had one in a chuck that I bought from Busy Bee. Three machine screws hold it in place.

They also have them in stainless for $2.57 ea. # is 91845A203.

Needed the challenge.
