We missed you at Southern States
Gary Evans
>Just got back last night from the Southern States symposium. Had the opportunity to visit again with Barbara Gill, Terry Daniels, Don Geiger and Dave Galloway. Also got to meet in person (as opposed to via the internet) Mark Kauder and Pete Kekel. If anyone else from the WC family was there, I apologize for leaving you out of the list.
After seeing Mark's segmented vessels, and Pete's mesquite burl bowl, as well as Terry's big poplar bowl and a beautiful box-elder closed form, I continue to be impressed by the level of skill and craftsmanship of our members. And Barbara G. had some of the most interesting pecan that I have ever seen.
By the way, if you have need of a Milwaukee angle drill, Terry is selling remanufactured units. He has a very good price on them. Guess what followed me home. 8^]
Anyway, I had a great time. I hope everyone else did, too. It was great to see you all (as opposed to ya'll.)
