>my saw does have a personality problem, it will not start with the choke out. i have to start it without using the choke or it'll flood out (only 1 pull now).

i finally cut up some of the logs that i have and man, that was some hard work. now i'm glad i got the husky, it cut right through like butter.

i really appreciate all the help that you guys gave and all the willingness to help. i've learned alot from reading this board and all the valuable infomation you guys always give. thanks again for all the help.

You probably WILL have to use the choke when you start cold next time. Once it feels like the motor is going to catch the 1st time, push in the choke and don't use the choke again till the next day you use the saw. You should be able to start it all day long w/o using the choke a 2nd time.

cold start: pull choke out and on first 'almost start', push the choke in and it should start on the next pull.

hot start: don't choke
