>Well I went ahead and did it... I bought a new lathe. Saturday, Woodcraft was having a sale and the JET mini lathe left the store with me. I couldn't wait to get it home and plop it on my bench and try to turn something. I had some cherry blocks lying around and went at it. A votive candle holder just popped in my head and the results are shown here. The one on the far left is my first turing on a lathe, then I did the middle one and finally the one on the right. Man, was it fun. I think I may be in trouble. Thanks for looking.
