Turning blank auction tomorrow in Indy.

>The Indianapolis chapter of the AAW will be having a wood auction tomorrow during their all day turn-a-thon at the Zionsville Boys and Girls club. We will be turning from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Anyone interested in getting some hands on time on a lathe with a really great bunch of turners would be welcomed with open arms. The proceeds from the turning blanks will be used to purchase a new lathe for the club. At last years auction 100 lb. chunks of maple, cherry and walnut were selling for less than $.10 per pound. Hope we do better than that this year. WE need a lathe.
