>This turned out to be my Easter project this year. I was asked to turn some small pieces for friends to take to a craft show so I turned some eggs. I needed something to hold the eggs so I grabbed an old unfinished bowl from a pile and threw wood shavings form the eggs in to make it look like a nest. It seems to be popular because I have more of them to make. This bowl is ambrosia maple, 6" in diameter and 3" deep. The shavings are from madrone bowl I was turning. The eggs are maple with texture and color.

>This is a natural edge boxelder bowl, 10" in diameter. The shavings are madrone and the eggs are curly maple. Lacquer for finish.
