From the photo in their catalogue, I think these tools are the same as "Benjamin's Best." These tools are made in China, for what that is worth. I have been happy with them. The gouge they call a "bowl gouge" has a shallow flute compared to higher end bowl gouges. I'm sure these are not "top quality," but they do seem to be a good buy. I have made several purchases from Penn State, including a dust collector, their 2-speed bench grinder, and they recently had a fantastic sale on bar clamps. I've been very happy with everything, they seem like a good company to deal with.

i have a set and i like them
