CA Glue for Bowl Blanks?

George Van

>Which CA glue should I use to attach a bowl or platter blank to a wooden faceplate blank?

How long should I wait before turning?

Can the bowl blank be green?

Thanks, George

>George, use medium visc. CA. Apply lots of glue. When glueing waste blocks, if there is a failure it's almost always because not enough glue was used. Don't clamp it, just a few seconds of hand pressure. You can mount it on the lathe immediately. CA glue works well with wet wood.
