>This is why its good to make friends with local tree removal/trimming services. They've given me blanket permission to haul whatever I want out of their firewood dump, and bring back logs of species I have on my wish list.
This morning's haul - black walnut, box elder, osage orange, bradford pear, gorgeous black cherry.
For just the price of a few cold calls and a few bowls to the dispatcher. I feel like a very fortunate guy right now. Must have done something right that I'm not aware of.
