I don't understand

>I don't understand what happened to BubbaBob. Last week I heard that he bowed out of the Sunday night chat by saying he felt ill and was going to call 911. Several folks asked during the week if anyone had heard from him and if anyone knew how he was, self included.
It appeared that no one had contact info for him, as surely someone would have gotten in touch otherwise. I didn't know anything about Bob other than he was a valued participant here and that he had poor taste in chainsaws.
I can't manage to read every post on every board here so if I missed an important detail or contact was made I didn't see it. I did see one note from someone I don't know about his dad being in the hospital but I didn't see any reference to BubbaBob in that message. I don't normally stick my nose into discussions where I know nothing, so I stayed out of that particular one.
One unfortunate aspect of online communities like this is that we often don't know anything "real" about a poster at the time when its really needed. Perhaps we could start this sort of thing with a trusted keeper of the info so that it is not abused.
I hope Bob's OK but I also hope he understands why we didn't call around hospitals to see if "BubbaBob" had checked in.
If Bob's gone for some other reason, please clue me in?

>Just a thought. You might check with Ellis to see if Bubba Bob ever made a donation or purchased anything. If Bob ever made a PayPal -or - CC payment there would be a paper trail.

>I checked into the turning chat early last week and he was logged on and I ask him how he was feeling and got no reply. Later in the chat he typed a few incoherent lines something about the hospital. Several folks replied to him and got no response. He then logged off. Certainly hope he's doing OK.

>Howdy everyone
Bubba Bob and I have developed a friendship of sorts off line. I can go as far as to say that he is having a tough time right now, and he could use your kind thoughts and prayers. He's not dead or dying, but he's got some health problems he is dealing with.

I would like to send him a CD that might lift him up a bit. Email me offline if you think it is a good idea and if you have contact info.
