Woodturning Books & Videos *LINK*

>Hi everyone! I am a fairly new woodturner (2yrs) but I have recently taken on the task of becoming the local club's librarian. While we have a pretty good library, one of my jobs is to aquire new material.

So I am asking everyone to suggest their favorite newer (last 3-4 yrs) book or video and include a brief statement about why they like it. It would help me out, but also provide some good information to everyone else.

>Two of the better "how to" tapes are Alan Lacer's "Woodturning, Getting Started Right" and The Skew Chisel". Of Course Dell Stubb's tape is one of my favorites just because of his enthusiasm.

>I 2nd Alan Lacer's Skew tape "The Sweet Side and the Dark Side" and he has a new one "Son of Skew" with projects with the skew. I also am a fan of Richard Raffin. He has several but I like the projects and boxes. Mike Mahoney has a good one also "From the Tree to the Table"
