>Bernie, I use one for vacuum clamping of veneers, but, I also create an artificial leak to keep from boiling the glue. If the pump is in good condition, it will pull down to 10 microns of mercury pressure. (This is very close to absolute zero) I do have about a 1" plastic tube that I hook to the discharge line to direct the discharge air out of the building so there is no oil vapor in the room. Bob
