Play in SuperNova chuck jaws

Rick Prevett

>I've been using my SuperNova chuck for about 18 months now, and have been very happy with its' performance.

However, about 2 weeks ago, as I was changing jaws, I noticed that the #1 and the opposing #3 jaw slides both had developed about a 1/32 inch play in them. They wiggle just a bit. The #2 and #4 slides are still rock solid.

Anyone have any ideas on why this would develop and/or how I could fix this?

Thanks in advance,

rick
