Yes, I've noticed a big difference between a 3tpi and 4tpi blade. 3tpi is definitly more "grabby" but it cuts alot faster. I have a few hundred feet of 4tpi to use up before I go back to 3tpi.

>And it perfectly echoes my experience with same. The dust port on my saw gets clogged frequently when sawing tall "end grain". With heart in the center, I frequently get a cut that goes along just fine and then stops dead, not due to clogging, but it must be hitting grain that the blade just can't deal with.

After writing that post this morning, I spent the day cutting wood I want to keep; I'm moving and organizing (haha) my wood stash. I took a 5"(maybe?) log to that infamous blade and it GRABBED; bent the blade just enough so I can't use it. I spent almost an hour trying to straighten it but it didn't work. So much for paying that much and I used it only about 6 times.
