>Greg, I have the Craftsman 3.5 which may just be a Remington, I don't know. I can tell you that it does a real good job on crosscuts but is very very slow on ripping. I only use it indoors now that I bought a Husqy 350 for outdoors, there is absolutely no comparison between them. Someone once mentioned something about plastic sprockets that go quickly on the cheaper electrics. I checked mine and found only metal visable. As someone just said, it really does get packed up w/ wood debris by the drive sprocket pretty quickly, but cleans out easily.
