I agree with what others have said about the short extension, remote switch and shorter tool rests.
The short extension is handy for boring bar work, and obviously for long spindle work, or just a place to park the tailstock. It's also nice for when you slide the headstock near the end for bowl hollowing- the overhang of the short extension gives your feet a lot of room to move around instead of tripping on the lathe legs. I made my own remote switch for nothing, using an ordinary junction box, light switch and computer power cord. My short tool rests are also homemade, and I like them better than the cast PM tool rest because I made them with a round top, unlike the flat-top stock rest.
