I'm giving a demonstration on how to make egg cups and goblets so this is some of what I turned this week.
A classic egg cup from cherry it's 1 7/8" dia. and 2 3/4" high, too small for the large eggs we get here =o).
This is a small goblet made from Bolivian rose wood. It has a beaded base and is 1 7/8" in dia. and 3 3/8" high.
Here are three goblets. The left is cocobolo with sap wood, center is cherry, right is cedar. An Israel shekel is used for refference. It's smaller than a dime but thicker.
We're also having an eggmaking contest so I made these little ones with left over scrap.
