>These were made from a 16" power hacksaw blade 0.062" thick. Grind the teeth off, clean up the sides, score with the grinder and break. Clean up the break on the grinder and glue on some handles. The glue is Hughes Epoxy 303. It has been sitting around for several years and I was surprised it was still good. There was some Birdseye heart wood in the scrap box begging to be used, so I did. The metal is carbon steel so I'll need to be careful regrinding but they cut well.
BTW if you use this type to part off a goblet or similar size, tip the top edge lightly into the wood as you cut and it will give a good surface to the side.
