Actually I'm supposed to give a demo on goblets at our next meeting so I thought I'd try this out. But now my wife will expect better from me. I have to develope my ring technique, this is about the 5th ring that I have done. I used medium CA to glue the 2nd ring back. This is kwila wood from S. Africa. It's a pain to turn but finishes nicely with friction polish.

>It's 2" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall. You can't see it but I also discovered a cute trick. I make the walls regular thickness inside and when I do the outside I taper towards the top. This gives an illusion that the whole cup is thin walled.
