PIC - Mother in law's birthday gift

Mike Schwing from Maryland

>No, its not a lump of coal. My mother-in-law is actually kind of cool.

Three little "nested" bradford pear bowls, on top of a curly makore display stand.

This'll win me major points over my other brothers-in-law, they're always mad at me with my hand made gifts.

I think its neat, hope she will, too. Looking at this pic, the stand is a little big, but it really doesn't appear so in person. Hmmf.

>Coool, Mike. Those look nice. I'm with you regarding a nice MIL.

I'm learning that our founding fathers were very wise men. I think they used the phrase "domestic tranquility" to mean "keep the ladies happy". ;-)

>Hi Mike,

They look really good, a nice little set. The stand is neat too. Hand made gifts always seem to go down well with people. (Never tried a MIL as don't have one :o) )

One question which I've wondered before, not being US based and have never seen your currency. What size is the coin you keep posting with the pictures?

I believe it is a quarter and is in the neighborhood of 26 millimeters. (Mike, correct me if I am wrong.)
