>Finally got some pics of recent work. This is a yellowheart piece with a zebrawood rim. This piece is about 11 inches high and about 7 inches wide. The finish is sprayed lacquer.

>Great piece. It looks very nice. I was just wondering if segmented turners ever pay attention to the grain direction. At the top of this one all the segments are turned the same way. Down in the body the segments seem to have the grain turned in random direction, no pattern. I'm just curious about this since I've seen in on several segmented pieces lately.
