Can anyone suggest a good finish for Koa. Doesn't need to be "food safe".

>An oil based poly is what I use on Curly Koa to accent the beautiful grain. By the way, , from what I understand, all finishes in america are food safe after they have cured, usally 30 days or so. Good luck, Sean

I like to finish my Koa bowls with multiple light apps. of Watco Danish Oil.
