Vicmarc vacuum chuck

Brian MacDonald - Olympia, Wa

>Has anyone here used it? Looking at the Vicmarc site, it can be used with a threaded adapter or be held by chuck jaws. What I'm uncertain about is that they state that it works with a shop vac. True or wishful thinking?

>I use the vac plate with a Fein shop-vac. It has great holding power and can be installed in seconds either, as you stated, by gripping it with dovetailed jaws or threading it onto the spindle. I just wish they made a larger diameter plate.

You can peel the rubber off the face and attach a larger plywood disc with Liquid Nails. Then put new rubber on the face of the plywood.
